Sunfyre Tek Small LED Magnifying Glass - #2017

Do you do any small detail work?  Painting small objects, jewelry inspection?  Or are your eyes aging and getting tired like mine?  This is a super little magnifier!  First, it is only about 7 inches long and 3 inches wide.  Perfect to tuck into a small space or purse.

You can see the great detail in my very dry and in need of moisturizer hand with the large magnifier.  Then I moved to the super powerful small magnifier...thing almost the size of a loop.  You can easily see that I need to get to a jeweler and get two of the small marcasite stones in my ring replaced.

This would also be great for doing electronic work, painted eggs, detail crafts or anything where your eyes need a boost.

Morale Patch - #2013

Want to show your support to our men in blue?  What a great and easy way!  This is a really nice, high quality patch.  It has really nice stitching and a thick finished edge.

The best part...it is velcro!!  The velcro is super strong and thick.  So easy to attach to surface and reposition too.  The velcro feature allows you to use the patch on many different items as well.
Here I slapped it easily onto my daughter's arm sling.

My first thought when these arrived was "Good Lord!  These are heavy!"
They come as a two pack and are 14 feet long each.  The nylon straps are thick and will not easily snap or fray.  The straps are attached around each piece with a double set of stitching.  The straps also come with a storage bag to keep everything together and dry.  I will be able to just toss these under the seat of the pick up truck and keep them there.  No need to store them elsewhere in the garage.

These are really heavy duty ratchet latches.  My dad, who is always a pessimist, couldn't believe how well made and heavy duty the ratchets were.  We don't have to tie things down too frequently but these will be perfect when we buy new furniture or appliances.

Safety Pwease - child proof cabinet locks

My daughter used to get into EVERYTHING when she was little.  While she is a perfect teenager now, she was hell on wheels as a toddler/preschooler.  We had to lock everything around her.  She was very adept at getting things open and she was FAST.  Oh how I wish I had these for the cabinets.  These cabinet locks are so much easier than the old style ones with the straps.  While an adult has the dexterity to open this lock one handed, a smaller child will not.  This would have stopped Natalie in her tracks from getting into the pots and pans cabinet while making it easier for me to still access my pots while I prepared dinner.  There is no need to have the right kind of nobs on the cabinets either.  These stick right onto the cabinets with the included adhesive patches.  Just peel off the backing and apply to the cabinet.  To remove, I was able to use scrapbook adhesive remover called Undu.  It left no residue or marks on the cabinets.

The lock is simple to use.  Just squeeze the center bar to disengage the latch and pivot up to open!

To close, just pivot the lever back down and it snaps closed.

Best part, there are six of them in the package!

Robin Tech - wireless earbuds - #2010

This is another really cool product!  These earbuds sync up using bluetooth technology to iPods, iPhones, iPads, android, ps4 and windows devices.  They are also sweatproof for those people who are so inclined to use them while exercising...that just won't be me!  They will actively play music for 4-6 hours and recharge in less than 2 hours.  They also have a built in microphone and a strap that secures them together that goes behind your head.

They are fairly small and compact for comfort and will not get in the way.  It takes a few minutes to get used to having the strap behind your head but otherwise these are very comfortable.

Everything fits into this nice little zippered case too.  Spare parts and the charging cord tuck easily into the little mesh pouch.

The set also comes with two other sets of different sized ear plugs and the USB charging cord too.

The sound quality is great, almost too great.  While using them as a handfree phone option, they do pick up quite a bit of background noise that a regular phone would not.  They created a little bit of an echo but once I turned down the volume, it helped with the background noise.
Multi-Strand Leather Bracelet - #2003

This bracelet is such a treat!  Most of the items that I get to review are household or health related.  This bracelet is just for fun!

The bracelet has four strands.  Two are beaded, one is a flat strap and the last is braided.  The entire bracelet is neutral browns with the exception of one larger colored bead which is a very pretty indigo color.  I would think that it would coordinate nicely with anything in the blue or purple family as well as any browns or blacks.  This is very versatile a great casual piece for everyday.

The strap is completely adjustable too.  Slip the bracelet on and pull the ends to tighten.  Time to take it off?  Gently nudge the straps apart and the bracelet slips over your hand easily too.  This will keep the leather from stretching out or snapping over time.  It seems to be very well made and a nice piece overall.

Dog Harness/Leash Set -

Penny the furball, loves to go for walks but is usually so excited that she pulls and ends up choking herself.  This harness/leash is so awesome that even my five year old can now walk her without worry,

The harness easily slips over her front paws and snaps together on her back.  The leash then attaches with a simple squeeze clip.  The leash is made from a soft material, that while somewhat spongy to be soft to your hand, is also very strong.  There is a nice loop at the end to hold onto as well.

We got the smallest size for Penny (who is a 10 pound yorkie) and it fits perfectly.  There is still room to make adjustments for when she is fluffier and hasn't been groomed and it can also be tightened for when it's summer and she is shaved down without much fuzz.

Compared to her other Martha Stewart harness and leash, I think this one is a much better quality.

Hip and Joint Relief for DOGS -

This supplement is for someone other than me for once!  The hip and joint supplement is for the family furball...glucosamine and chondroitin along with aloe.

Most dog products make me gag from the obvious pet smell.  This one did not elicit any bad reaction on my part whatsoever, which speaks volumes.  I added one very small squirt of the supplement to the dog's food.  She typically hates eating her dry food but evidently the supplement made it more appealing to her.

I can't speak of the supplement's effectiveness yet, since it has only been a few days, but it is certainly easy enough to administer and the dog ingested it happily.
Washi Tape - Click on any item title to go to the Amazon link to purchase or read more product details...

To say that I love washi tape would be the understatement of the century!  Washi tape is one of my favorite scrapbook and cardmaking supplies.  This is a beautiful assortment with a wide variety of colors.  There are 20 rolls that cover every color of the rainbow plus some :)  There are six solids:  aqua, purple, lime green, orange, yellow and red.

This is also a nice weight to the paper tape.  It was easy enough to tear but not so thin that the colors were faded or translucent.  This would be a perfect set for someone looking to use washi tape for the first time or build their collection with different colors and fun patterns.  I think my particular favorites are the orange brick and purple scribble flowers.  It would make a nice gift too for anyone looking to expand their techniques in cardmaking/scrapbooking.

Foot Cream -

This might be my favorite new product!  I love lotions and creams and was very skeptical buying this one.  I usually like my go to favs from Bath and Body Works and tend to not stray.  I LOVE THIS NEW CREAM!!

When I opened the cream to test it, the first thing I did was smell it of course.  It is not a heavy or overbearing scent at all.  It is a very light peppermint scent with an underlying floral scent too, almost rose like which I assume is the geranium oil in it too.  Tea tree oil rounds out the scents which is supposed to aid in relieving itchy feet.  While my feet don't itch, they do get dry.  My intention was just to try the cream out on one foot.  I dabbed it on and rubbed it into my heel.  It instantly felt better so added some cream to my toes and the balls of my feet too.  My feet felt softer immediately.  I liked it so much that I took of my other sock and applied it to the other foot too.

This will now become a permanent fixture on my nightstand!  And my teenage daughters had better not even think of swiping it!!
Moscow Mule Copper Mugs - set of 2

These are really beautiful mugs for cold beverages.  The photo does not do the color justice!  They are so high polished that the finish is a perfect mirror.  You can see everything in the reflection in the mug...my cell phone, the charging cord, even the ceiling fan!

The handle is a gold finish and the inside is a brushed stainless steel.  There is even a great recipe on the side of the box to try.  Looking forward very much to entertaining with these!
Insulated Wine Carrier -

Need a few bottles to go?  This is perfect!  Neoprene wine carrier is light and perfectly flat for easy storage.  It holds two bottles and there is a stitching line in between the two bottles to keep them from clanging together.  The neoprene also acts as a padding and an insulator all in one.  Keeps bottles of white wine perfectly chilled and absorbs sweating while in transit.

As you can see from the close up detail photo, the outer edges of the bag and the handles are all reinforced with binding and zigzag stitched to prevent edges from fraying or unraveling.  Overall, this is a great bag and would make a great gift for any wine lover!
Family Reponsibility Chart and Reward Chart -

Both of these are great charts!  Both are magnetic and a very thin so that the magnets have no problem staying put on the side of the fridge.  Both also come with a dry erase pen with eraser top.

The reward chart is perfect for specifiying daily tasks for my little one...brushing teeth, making bed, picking up clothes from floor...you get the picture.  There is a spot for daily check off and even spots along the bottom that indicate how many stars equal what reward.  Easy enough to change and adjust as the child ages or tasks become more demanding.

This chart is perfect for everyone in the family!  Reminds each person what they need to do:  feed the chickens, clean the rabbit litter pans, wipe down the bathrooms, etc.  People here do not get rewarded necessarily for being a contributing member of the family community but sometimes they need reminders.  This easily keeps track of who has been slacking off on their chores!

Straw Cleaning Brushes -

These are a lifesaver for cleaning out bottles and straws that have been all mucked up from drinking green smoothies!  Our family LOVES green smoothies but they always seem to leave residue in the straws and the crevices of the bottle tops.  These brushes have rescued us from having to throw out the nice reusable straws.

Just a pass or two of the brushes and the straw comes clean.  The bristles on the brushes are just stiff enough to get out the residue.  The handles are long enough too that you can clean the entire straw in some cases from just one end.

I'll be ordering an extra set of these to keep on hand...
Sporty & Fit - 3 in 1 Fitness Set

Natalie (my 15 year old)  is most excited about this new fitness set for use with her physical therapy.  She said her therapist will be quite happy!

First, there is a nice jump rope.  Not a cheapie kids type that you pick up at walmart either.  Nice swivel handles and a thin coated cord.  The coating on the cord is a nice thickness that shouldn't wear away too quickly after hitting a hard floor repeatedly.  Not sure I'd want to use it on a rough sidewalk though, just because the roughness might wear away at the coating a little more.

Second, there are four resistance bands:  light, medium, heavy and very heavy.  These will be great as her shoulder strengthens and she can add more "weight".

Finally there are two sliding discs for doing lunges.  My daughter dreads lunges even though they are a great exercise for strengthening her bad knees.  She says they are "evil" but in a good way :)

So, if you need something new for home exercise, this seems to be a great kit to get you started!

Lighted Magnifying Glass - Item #1412

I need this!  You know why?  I turned 40 a few years ago and what hadn't fallen apart already, was on it's way out the door, and that included my eyesight!

I'm not so bad that I need a magnifier hanging around my neck yet, but paired with my glasses, this lighted magnifier is a gem!

It is packaged well in a nice box and has protective film over both sides of the magnifier.  It uses three little AAA batteries and has a push button switch to turn the light on and off.  There is also a smaller more powerful magnifier built into the main lens as well.  This is particularly useful when I'm trying to read recipes and can no longer tell if it says 1/3 or 1/4...

I have also now used this with my needlework,  It has helped to find a dropped stitch in my knitting and also to find my cross stitch mistake.

The whole thing come with a nice black fabric bag to protect it and keep it safe.  Also included is a bonus cleaning rag.  This little magnifier now has a permanent place by my stitching tools :)
Letter Sized Clipboards (6 pack) - Item #1956

This just might be one of my favorite items that I've received from my review group...

I LOVE organization!  I also love community service...it's kind of like an addiction.  I can't help but want to help out...I think I need a 12 step program.  Anyway, I digress!

I received this set of 6 clipboards.  The are not the highest quality clipboard ever but they are economical and serve their purpose.  The board itself is not as thick as I would like but it was a great deal for the price!

When they arrived, I instantly snagged two, one for my girl scout leader use and one for my church group use.  I needed to snag them IMMEDIATELY too because my teenagers quickly grabbed at them for their own use!

At the top of the clipboard is a tab that pulls out that would allow for these clipboards to be hung up.  The clip itself, lifts up to allow you to slide papers into it and the rubber grips on the corners hold the papers firmly.

These are nice chipboard boards.  Very easy to paint and decorate for crafting.  My one daughter decided to cover the whole thing in washi tape.  She uses hers for school work.

These would also be great to buy a few sets of for use in a classroom or as a project with kids.

Magnabode Magnetic Knife Strip - Item #1166

I love to cook and I love my new kitchen.  Soon, I'll be able to throw out my now rather ratty looking, 20 year old knife block and hold my knives like a pro!

This strip is incredibly heavy!  Be sure to read the enclosed instructions and make sure it is securely mounted.  I'll be putting my dad in charge of this task!  It does have to be screw mounted which makes me nervous going into my new travertine tile backsplash, so I'm trying to figure out a way to mount it into a cabinet or the side of the fridge instead.

This strip is quite long as well and will hold many knives...at the least, my filet knife, two paring knives, chef's knife and santuko knife all fit easily.  This will make my kitchen prep go much faster and will hold my knives out of the way and off the counter, lessening the chance that I will drop one on my foot or crack a floor tile when I knock it off the counter.

The strip is attractive and won't be an eyesore.  It is a polished stainless steel...

The kids are also now trying to talk me into using it to hold papers on the fridge...but I don't think so!

Dog Diapers by Ciao Chow Pet Products - Item #1957

Click on the title to see the product on the Amazon website...

First, my reason for getting this product.  I have a really annoying, spoiled yet adorable yorkie.  I really wanted a labradoodle but my daughter really wanted this small, yapping and again, spoiled dog.  So, I caved.  That being said, dog is really sweet but hates going out in the rain.  She refuses to pee or poop in the rain unless forced.  Usually, she will run away and hide and pretty much go anywhere else in the house but near the back door.  So, thankfully, I'm smarter than she is!

These little diapers come three to a package in a variety of colors.  While color is not important to me, some people may find these cute.  My five year old thinks that are so "Adordable" and can't wait to dress up the dog...more photos will follow.

These have awesome velcro closures that are completely adjustable.  They fit easily around my dog's little fat belly and tighten easily if I've just had her groomed and she is shaved down.

On the inside, think little doggie maxi pad!  This is VERY absorbant.  It snaps into place and removes easily for washing.  The dog is much happier out of her crate and this will take care of saving my carpet and floors!

Finally, there are snaps on the outside that help adjust the diaper for a better fit.  You may be able to snug it up for a female dog but leave it longer for a male.

Either way, I have now outsmarted the dog and I don't dread the rainy days quite so much!

I've been part of a great group that receives products free or discounted and then reviews them.  However, Amazon decided to change their review policies the other day and now prohibits this.  I've received some great products and still want to get the word out there about them and share them with my family and friends.  So, read on and see what I think...after all, we all know I'm opinionated!!
